(PASSED) 50th annual Mount Dora Arts Festival - Join us on February 1 & 2, 2025 for the 50th annual Mount Dora Arts Festival held on the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora, Florida. Experience 300 fine artists lined along the streets to showcase a vast array of incredible talent in this juried event. There will be entertainment, beer, wine, cocktails, music and festival food to round out the amazing weekend. The event runs 9am-5pm on Saturday and 9am-4pm on Sunday and is FREE to attend.

I will have pottery and sculpture at this festival. Marietta Art in the Park, an Atlanta Labor Day weekend tradition is celebrating its 37th year! This incredible three-day juried Fine Art Festival takes place on the historic Marietta Square in Glover Park, and ranked #13 by Sunshine Artist Magazine in 2022 in the 100 Best Fine Art & Design Shows and was named one of the Best Shows in America for 2010-2020. It is consistently awarded a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society and is the only fine art festival held in Cobb County. This fine art extravaganza features the Artist Market, representing the best in fine handcrafted works by 175 artists from all over the country. Art displayed during the festival includes paintings, photography, pottery, graphic arts, sculptures, jewelry, woodworking and much more. Kids of all ages love the ever-popular Children’s Art Alley with several free make and take crafts and the Chalk Spot where kids and adults of all ages use their imagination to create chalk masterpieces.

Named as one of the TOP 100 Arts Festival in the Nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine, annual Piedmont Park Arts Festival located in Atlanta’s largest park, Piedmont Park. 1215 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30309. This event will feature up to 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters! The Festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a children’s play area, plus festival foods and beverages with healthy alternatives.

Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival
Saturday May 13, 10:00am–5:00pm / Sunday May 14, 11:00am–5:00pm. I will have lots of handcrafted pottery, as well as, unique one of a kind hand-built sculptures.
Named as one of the nation’s Top 100 (67) Arts Festival Nationwide by Sunshine Artist Magazine the Chastain Park Arts Festival will host its 13th annual event at Chastain Park along Park Drive for approximately 185 artists and artisans. Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area, local food and beverage concessions including gourmet food trucks, and local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in hands-on art activities. The Festival benefits a scholarship fund for local artists administered by the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces. Best of all, it’s entirely free to attend!

Brookgreen Gardens Art Festival

This two-day event showcases the fine craftsmanship and quality art being produced regionally and throughout the nation. SouthWorks National Juried Exhibition
Opening Reception April 21 6:00pm - 8:00 pm. Exhibition will run from April 21 through June 2. I have one sculpture showing in this exhibition: “Intertwined” has been accepted into this exhibition. This is sculpture is a unique coil-built giraffe sculpture with some relief acacia trees on the piece (these tree leaves are giraffes’ favorite food). Erin Dunn is the juror for OCAF’s 28th Annual SouthWorks National Juried Exhibition, which will will be held in the main galley this year. Erin Dunn is Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Telfair Museums in Savannah, GA where she has been a member of the curatorial team since 2014, and holds a BA from Emory University and an MA from the University of Georgia. Eighty-six works of art by 83 artists were chosen out of 131 artists who submitted work.

Braselton Artisan Festival

I will have a variety of my paintings (watercolor, acrylic, and ink) at this festival. Come visit me in this festival’s 20th year along with 350+ vendors as we line the streets of downtown Braselton creating a one of a kind artisan market. Come hungry with 12 food trucks, adult beverages, and of course ice cream and snow cones to choose from. Plus live music. Voted one of the top 5 festivals in the state of Georgia. Conveniently located off I-85 North exit 129 turn East and follow the signs. Only one mile from the exit. Free parking, free shuttle, and free admission. You don't want to miss this 3-day event.
DownEast National Juried Sculpture Exhibition
Opening reception for indoor exhibition March 3 fom 5:00pm - 8:00pm, also in-person for First Friday ArtWalk. Exhibition will run from March 3 through 30 in the Don Edwards Gallery.

Lyndon House Arts Foundation 48th Juried Exhibition
Opening Reception March 2 / Exhibition March 2 - May 6.
I have two sculptures showing in this exhibition: “Reverie” (barn owl, mouse, and found object) and “Rufous” (hummingbird and found object) All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public. Exhibitions are on view during regular gallery hours Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Lyndon House Arts Center is pleased to announce the opening of the 48th Juried Exhibition. The show is curated by Maria Elena Ortiz, Curator at The Modern in Fort Worth, Texas. The exhibition is on view through May 6, 2023. Maria Elena Ortiz reviewed 682 works of art by 245 Athens area artists. Of these, Ms. Ortiz chose 154 works by 107 local artists. In addition, multiple awards selected by the Juror will be announced on opening day. Throughout the run of the exhibition, the Lyndon House Arts Center will be hosting artist talks in the galleries Thursday evenings during the month of April. Those dates are April 6, 13, 20, and 27th. Gallery Talks begin at 6:00 pm.
